I am getting tired of the media's fascination with "angry" Republicans. For years those on the Left of the political spectrum have been marching (naked at times), yelling, looting(just watch the WTO protests), throwing fake blood, chanting the most horrid of phrases, burning effigy's, and calling conservatives murderers. Now, at some McCain rallies people are getting up and saying "I am angry!", and all of a sudden the right wing holds the anger mantle? Ridiculous. Even when they are winning the Democrats are angry...just look at the latest from Michelle Malkin.
* Holy crap! I wish I could write like this! Roger Kimball giving a passionate wrist slap to his good friend Christopher Buckley, over Buckley's endorsement of Obama. Kimball lays out a perfect argument for being anti-Obama and perhaps Mr. McCain should give him a call.
* Wake up American, Mr. Obama is lying when he says he will cut taxes for 95% of Americans. And, I do mean LYING! How is it possible, Mr. Obama, to cut taxes for 95% of the population when 47% of the working population already pay NO Federal income taxes!?! Apparently it's magic.
From Neal Boortz:
"Some plumber caught him in public without his teleprompter and started asking him some pointed questions about his tax plans. The Democrat/Socialist candidate told the plumber dude that he wanted to "spread the wealth around." Well excuse the ever-loving horsesqueeze out of me, but that wealth isn't the government's to "spread around" as Barack puts it. The wealth belongs to the people who earned it, and the government can't spread it around without first seizing it. Of course seizing that wealth from the evil high-achievers is something that appeals to a huge number of voters in this country.
You've heard people say that politicians derive power through the current tax code by creating winners and losers. This is what Obama has been proposing all along with his "reduce taxes on 95% of Americans" lie. What Obama really proposes to do is to create winners of the middle class by making losers of the high-achievers ... taking from the rich and giving to the poor."
* Michael Barone previews for us what the next four years would be like, if Obama wins the Presidency.
* Poetic truth about the degrading of real American values.
* Would you like to know the real reason the market has fallen apart just prior to this years election? One word...socialism. Another article to back this theory up.
* Zogby says the race for the White House is a statistical "dead heat", with Obama up by slightly less than 4%.
* Why hasn't a real conversation on race not happened yet? Because the liberal left knows that it would not help their chances for election...and that's all they care about.
* More voter registration problems, this time coming out of the Sunshine State. Over 30,000 felons are on the voter rolls in Florida (where convicted felons cannot vote).
* Would you like to know who really wrote Barack Obama's bestselling autobiography, "Dreams of my Father"? I will give you a hint...his name rhymes with Terrorist William Ayers...oh, wait...never mind about the rhymes thing.
* More proof that when a Republican does something wrong...he retires. When a Democrat gets caught in wrongdoing...he gets reelected! What a world...what a world...

A wasted vote.
* I am often asked why I am going to throw my vote away by not voting for one of the two major party candidates. First the Democrat, I am diametrically opposed to almost every single plank of the Democratic Party Platform. I am even more opposed to Barack Obama's platform which (if possible) is more liberal than the Party Platform. Now the Republican, John McCain is a double-minded man...driven with the wind and utterly without a stable base other than his own (at times counter intuitive) logic. This article from the Denver Post really describes it well.
And for an eloquent defense of the 3rd Party Vote, here is a letter from my candidate Chuck Baldwin:
A Wasted Vote
by Chuck Baldwin
October 10, 2008
When asked why they will not vote for a third party candidate, many people will respond by saying something like, "He cannot win." Or, "I don't want to waste my vote." It is true: America has not elected a third party candidate since 1860. Does that automatically mean, however, that every vote cast for one of the two major party candidates is not a wasted vote? I don't think so.
In the first place, a wasted vote is a vote for someone you know does not represent your own beliefs and principles. A wasted vote is a vote for someone you know will not lead the country in the way it should go. A wasted vote is a vote for the "lesser of two evils." Or, in the case of John McCain and Barack Obama, what we have is a choice between the "evil of two lessers."
Albert Einstein is credited with saying that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. For years now, Republicans and Democrats have been leading the country in the same basic direction: toward bigger and bigger government; more and more socialism, globalism, corporatism, and foreign interventionism; and the dismantling of constitutional liberties. Yet, voters continue to think that they are voting for "change" when they vote for a Republican or Democrat. This is truly insane!
Take a look at the recent $700 billion Wall Street bailout: both John McCain and Barack Obama endorsed and lobbied for it. Both McCain and Obama will continue to bail out these international banksters on the backs of the American taxpayers. Both McCain and Obama support giving illegal aliens amnesty and a path to citizenship. In the debate this past Tuesday night, both McCain and Obama expressed support for sending U.S. forces around the world for "peacekeeping" purposes. They also expressed support for sending combat forces against foreign countries even if those countries do not pose a threat to the United States. Neither Obama nor McCain will do anything to stem the tide of a burgeoning police state or a mushrooming New World Order. Both Obama and McCain support NAFTA and similar "free trade" deals. Neither candidate will do anything to rid America of the Federal Reserve, or work to eliminate the personal income tax, or disband the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Both Obama and McCain support the United Nations. So, pray tell, how is a vote for either McCain or Obama not a wasted vote?
But, back to the "he cannot win" argument: to vote for John McCain is to vote for a man who cannot win. Yes, I am saying it here and now: John McCain cannot win this election. The handwriting is on the wall. The Fat Lady is singing. It is all over. Finished. John McCain cannot win.
With only three weeks before the election, Barack Obama is pulling away. McCain has already pulled his campaign out of Michigan. In other key battleground states, McCain is slipping fast. He was ahead in Missouri; now it is a toss-up or leaning to Obama. A couple of weeks ago, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida were all leaning towards McCain, or at least toss-up states. Now, they are all leaning to Obama. Even the longtime GOP bellwether state of Indiana is moving toward Obama. In addition, new voter registrations are at an all-time high, and few of them are registering as Republicans. In fact, the Republican Party now claims only around 25% of the electorate, and Independents are increasingly leaning toward Obama.
Ladies and gentlemen, Barack Obama is headed for an electoral landslide victory over John McCain. John McCain can no more beat Barack Obama than Bob Dole could beat Bill Clinton.
I ask, therefore, Are not conservatives and Christians who vote for John McCain guilty of the same thing that they accuse people who vote for third party candidates of doing? Are they not voting for someone who cannot win? Indeed, they are. In fact, conservatives and Christians who vote for John McCain are not only voting for a man who cannot win, they are voting for a man who does not share their own beliefs and principles. If this is not insanity, nothing is!
So, why not (for once in your life, perhaps) cast a vote purely for principle! Vote for someone who is truly pro-life. Someone who would quickly secure our nation's borders, and end the invasion of our country by illegal aliens. Someone who would, on his first day in office, release Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean and fire U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton. Someone who would immediately, upon assuming office, begin leading the charge to dismantle the Federal Reserve, overturn the 16th Amendment, expunge the IRS, and return America to sound money principles. Someone who would get the US out of the UN. Someone who would stop spending billions and trillions of dollars for foreign aid. Someone who would prosecute the Wall Street bankers who defrauded the American people out of billions of dollars. Someone who would work to repeal NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT, the WTO, and stop the NAFTA superhighway. Someone who would say a resounding "No" to the New World Order. Someone who would stop using our brave men and women in uniform as global cops for the United Nations. Someone who would stop America's global adventurism and interventionism. Someone who would steadfastly support and defend the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
"Who is this person?" you ask. Go here to find out:

Terrorism, Fraud, Porn, and Murder...just a few of Obama's dear friends....
* CNN did it again! Actual reporting! I am again speechless...The MainStreamMedia would be banging down John McCain's door if he were tied to ACORN, I really hope they do not continue to give Obama a free pass.
*The terrorist Bill Ayers and his evil, villainous, terrorist wife in 1998 telling Connie Chung that they "would do it all over again" and "wish we would have been more militant". Hey, that's cool...it doesn't reflect on Obama at all that he is friends with them. Or, that they agree on most issues. Or, that they have worked closely together to "accomplish' things in Chicago. I will say it again, it is an abomination that these two scumbags were not punished more severely and I would not have been against them both being executed.
* Who do you think the world's biggest producer of gay pornography would support? Yep, you guessed it...the chosen one.
* Read about one debate where Obama kept tying himself in verbal knots...on another note, this is one issue (abortion) that McCain should be harping on but has not even mentioned.

Just 23 days to go!
* More direct evidence of an intimate Obama-Ayers connection. Mr. Obama just happens to be very good friends with an anti-American pro-Palestinian Professor at Columbia (by the name of Rashid Khalidi)...and this Professor just happens to be very, very good friends with the terrorist Bill Ayers. As an aside, this article also enlightens us to the fact that the "expert" on education, terrorist Bill Ayers, uses Khalidi in some of his books on how to "politicize" education. Are you starting to realize that the liberal education agenda is to indoctrinate, not educate?

End of American Capitalism?
* Proof the Joe Biden is not as well versed on the issues as the Democrats claim him to be.
* More proof that John McCain was not the guy that should have been picked by the GOP.
* I am quickly becoming a Ruben Navarette fan, as he keeps pumping out articles that I find insightful, logical, and relevant. I especially appreciate his last two paragraphs...
" A survey last month by the Pew Hispanic Center found that just 23 percent of Latinos supported McCain, while 66 percent backed Obama. A third said that immigration would influence their vote. Fifty percent said Obama was the better candidate on that issue, while 12 percent said that about McCain.
Let's recap: McCain jeopardized his political career by fighting for the comprehensive immigration reform supported by Latinos. Meanwhile, according to Rev. Luis Cortes -- another participant in the documentary and president and CEO of Philadelphia-based Esperanza USA, the country's largest Hispanic faith-based community development corporation -- Obama has recently tried to lower expectations by warning groups that, if elected, he probably won't get around to immigration reform in the critical first 100 days of his administration.
I understand brand loyalty, in this case to the Democratic Party. I just didn't realize it caused blindness."
* Here's an article on Sarah Palin's radical right wing associations! I read through this and found that the only thing radical about this guy was his desire for Alaska to secede from the USA. Apparently, liberals believe that being anti-tax, pro-gun, pro-"traditional" family...makes you a radical right wing. And we crazy conservatives consider guys like terrorist Bill Ayers is radical...wow. We are scared of terrorists and the liberals are scared of average Americans...explains a lot.
* When it comes to attacking the Democrat Party, it does kind of feel like Salem in the 1600's...
* Oh, I saved the very BEST for last. The peanut farming, anti-Semite idiot calls out the President on the economy...and i'm not kidding. The man apparently has gone senile and forgotten that the American people were much harder hit by his economic policies in the 1970's and early 80's than we are now. Times may be tough but those years were horrific...Jimmy Carter is a clown. And Jimmy just so you know, deregulation is not the problem...you big dummy, it started with you.
I detest you Jimmy Carter, you have done more in your lifetime to tear down our country, than an army of terrorists hell bent on our destruction could do in the same amount of time.

Breaking news...
Another breaking story about corruption and Barack Obama (having to do with his good bud Tony Rezko). Honestly, how much more before you sheeple turn away from your "messiah"?
AND McCain's newest attack ad:
ACORN
AND McCain's newest attack ad:
ACORN
Cheaters never prosper...(at least I hope not)...
Picture from Michelle Malkin* I wonder which way the Dead vote is leaning? Wait, you didn't know that dead people love to vote(4,000 of them in Texas)? They do...and they overwhelmingly vote Democrat.
* More voter fraud issues. La Raza the racist Latino (I can say these Latinos are racist without being racist myself, because I am Latino...so ha!) political organization has been cheating, too.
* Since my post yesterday new allegations against ACORN, again in Kansas City, Missouri. Also, new allegations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Maybe the FBI should just raid every ACORN office? Just a thought...
* Here's a sweet story of a 19 year old registering to do his part as an American voter...who ACORN paid in cash and cigarettes to register 72 times!
* The main stream media finally starts to pick up on the voter fraud coming from the Obama campaign. Obama's friends at ACORN have a lot to do with that...
* Not only do the Democrats cheat with voter fraud but they also like to try and cheat with financial fraud. Anyone surprised? I thought not.
* Breaking news that Mr. Obama has had more than a passing fancy with a far left third party by the name of the "New Party". A little deeper digging tells us who this "New Party" is...
* Shouldn't this automatically make Obama a pariah who is not able to get elected? I know that politicians try to work circumstances to their advantage all of the time...but this is the center of our current war on terror! I have to believe that this alone is enough to sway some people away from Obama.
* Louis Farrakhan calls Obama a messiah!
* One of the Terrorist Bill Ayers victims, speaks out...
* Literally, the first intelligent article I have read this campaign season on racial implications in the election. Oddly enough, the article was written by a Latina.
Can Obama's Campaign Survive?
The newest revelations out of Obama's camp...and it's a stunner. I for one do not think Mr. Obama will be able to recover from the fallout of this newest scandal!

Chris Matthews (Hearts) Barack Obama...
So the media is unbiased, right?... Think again, my friends.
* A surprising development in my political reading...I have found an eloquent writer who just happens to be an enlightened liberal. Please take the time to flip through the 4 pages of questions and answers and you will see what I mean.
* A not so surprising development in my political reading...Roland Martin is an idiot. If I could speak to him personally I would tell him that he was way off base. Mr. Obama's association with Bill Ayers is important to me...the man should be a pariah...but because of his left-leaning political beliefs he is a valued member of polite Chicago society. The man and his wife are as evil as Eric Rudolph/Terry McVeigh and should be treated as such. The comparisons of respected politicians to terrorists makes my stomach turn, you cannot try and compare the two...and it saddens/sickens me that you believe that McCain's service with them is equal to Obama's association with terrorists.
He advocated (and has not recanted) violence against our nation, and for Mr. Obama to be "friendly" with him, terrifies me.
If justice had prevailed over incompetence, the Ayers couple would have served many, many years in prison and would be relegated to history as the terrorists they are.
* Don't buy the hype that the media is trying to peddle! Barack Obama and John McCain are statistically tied...renowned pollster John Zogby says the race could still go either way. The reason things look locked up for Obama is that the media is trying to get Republican voters away from the polls by saying their candidate is done...don't buy the bull. Get out there and start recruiting voters...and make sure you vote too. Even if Mr. Obama was going to win in a runaway you don't change things by folding early...you change things by sticking to your guns.
* I thought I would try to list all of the voter fraud investigations that ACORN (a community organizing group once affiliated with Obama) is involved in but found that I didn't have enough space...so here are just a few. Oh by the way, thus far in this election season the Obama campaign has paid out over 800,000$ to ACORN nationally. Also, did you know that some of our tax dollars funnels into ACORN as well?
- Cleveland, Ohio...and ACORN's "flimsy" excuses.
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Kansas City, Missouri
- Hartford, Connecticut
- Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Crown Point, Indiana
- Indianapolis, Indiana
- Even the papers in good ol' New York, New York don't like what is going on.

Neal Boortz
I enjoy reading Neal's Nuze everyday, and would encourage anyone to take a gander at Neal's musings...today he had some especially good material, from a writer for Slate.com.
From Neal Boortz:
"What you are about to read has become the talk of the country --- well, at least the talk of the left. Do you suck it up and get used to it or do you fight until the end? John McCain has not yet decided to fight. So here it goes:
There's a new scent in the air. If you're a Democrat, you haven't felt it tickle your nostrils since October 1996, when everybody knew that Bill Clinton was about to beat Bob Dole. The perfume hasn't been this strong since October 1964, the eve of Lyndon Johnson's landslide presidential victory. It's the sweet smell of success that you can take for granted.
With every passing day, it's harder to imagine that the next president of the United States will be a Republican—even a "maverick" Republican like John McCain. A consensus is emerging that the next president will be Barack Obama, a Democrat.
That, my friends, is from Slate magazine. Of course, it came from the same writer that once said calling Barack Obama skinny is racist. But you get my point. As I read the column I found one passage more than interesting. Timothy Noah, the author, wrote that over the past 25 years there were many sentiments that a Democrat should never say out loud. Noah says that Obama still can't say them, but other Democrats (those not running for election?) can. Here's just a sampling ... Noah calls these long-buried sentiments a refreshing change from what we've been hearing since Reagan was elected:
"I think Karl Marx had some valuable insights into capitalist economies!"
"The Second Amendment does too allow government to ban handguns."
"I don't support the troops. I support some troops, depending on whether or not they've committed war crimes."
"If Israel isn't out of the occupied territories in six months we'll cut off all aid."
That's just a partial list from the column. I think the one about Israel is interesting in light of the fact that most of our Jewish population will be voting Democrat. And the Karl Marx bit certainly must bring a smile to Obama's face.

Shuckster's and Charlatan's!
* The Shuckster's in the Media want you to believe that Joe Biden is much more intelligent than Sarah Palin, you should know the FACTS.
* Watch out for those Shuckster's who call you late at night claiming to be pollsters. They may very well be waiting to twist your words and push their messiah onto you.
* Barack Obama likes to give your money to his friends...Shuckster.
* Joe Biden likes to bold-face lie to the American people, he is what we call a Charlatan.
* Don't believe the Shuckster's out there who say "The sky is falling!", we won't be seeing a Depression any time soon.
* Why do the American people allow themselves to be blinded by the light that is Barack Obama? Because he is a master Charlatan, from the corrupt Chicago political machine...where all they teach is sleight of hand.
* How does Barney Frank keep getting elected? Well with answers like this, the truth must be smoke and mirrors...Charlatan.
* More proof that Shuckster Educators run our law schools...a Federal judge has ordered that terrorists being released from Gitmo should, get this, be released in the USA! Why? Because their home country's won't take them back...and nobody else wants them!
* As I have now proven, Barack Obama is a Shuckster and Charlatan! As he proved last night during the Presidential debate when he said "Medical Care is a right!". Unless, the Founding Fathers somehow forgot that one, no Mr. Obama, it is not.
The problem with hypocrisy:

"Swing Voter eats own Brain!"

I cannot understand the swing voter. This person who is unsure (even today) of who they will vote for. I understand being a swing voter in a primary, and I can even understand being a swing voter at the beginning of an election campaign but with a month to go...? In this article from the Wall Street Journal, swing voters expressed their concerns and reasons for being undecided. How can a person who acknowledges not knowing who they will vote for because they aren't "too political", believe that one candidate is better than the other on any issue? This is how the main stream media decides elections...uneducated voters who watch the 6:30 national newscast on occasion, make decision off of what the newscaster tells them. That doesn't strike fear in anyone else's heart? This is the reason are Founding Fathers saw fit to create the Electoral College...which is now in danger of being abolished (thanks to a couple of close elections). I don't know what the answer is, but this is a problem that affect all of America.
* From Neal Boortz:
"Right now about 70% of existing jobs in the American economy are in small businesses. Eighty percent of all new jobs are now being created by small businesses. If we want our economy to turn around we need these small business men and women to do the heavy lifting. These small business owners generally report their business income on their individual income tax returns. Are you with me so far here? This isn't all that difficult, but then again we are dealing with people who were educated by the government here. OK ... so we have small businesses creating eight out of ten new jobs ... and along comes Barack Obama who promises to raise income taxes on these people! This amazing super-human wants to bring back jobs by raising the taxes on the very people we will depend on to create those jobs! What an amazing concept!
Now Barack Obama knows he's vulnerable here ... so he cranks up the teleprompters and tells the people he is going to cut capital gains taxes on America's small businesses. Well isn't that just so very special? The problem is, these small businesses don't pay capital gains taxes. They pay income taxes ... the taxes The Chosen One wants to raise! Most of the Obama-bots are fooled. Are you?"
* Joe Biden, the man who told us (and I paraphrase) "Paying higher taxes is Patriotic!", show that he doesn't practice what he preaches.
* Could you be friends with Bill Ayers? A very thoughtful and insightful piece from the National Review Online. CNN actually "reporting" on Obama's string of lies about his relationship with Ayers.
* Barney Frank wants you to know that if you blame him and Congress for the mortgage failures (or anything else)...it is racist! Again with the racism? A person can only take so much of the hate speech...is no one else getting tired? Oh, and Barney...this might have more to do with why people are blaming you.
* Media Bias?
* The Saturday Night Live skit that disappeared from NBC's archives! Playing politics, anyone?

The Real "Hope"
Bob Hope is as funny and relevant today as ever...
* Obama says "Listen to what I say, not what I do!" More proof that Barack Obama is a big fan of not telling the truth.
* Both candidates plans are too big for our country's britches (ie. budget).
* McCain should stress the differences between his tax plan and Obama's "kill our country" tax plan.
* Ted Nugent's newest book "Ted, White and Blue: The Nugent Manifesto" is the next book on my reading list. It is already getting some very good reviews.
* Racism, racism, racism...deep breath...racism, racism, racism...
Why is every argument against Barack Obama attackedfor being racist?

An American Carol!
The family and I went out to the movies to see "An American Carol" today and i gotta say I thought it was very funny! If you are a fan of the movie Airplane! or the Naked Gun, then you should like An American Carol. I would say be prepared for some foul language and some off-color humor...but I think most people who watch PG-13 or R movies will not be offended by the language. On a political note, I think David Zucker has really hit on the things that make some of us Conservatives crazy when it comes to the Liberal Elite, Micheal Moore, and Hollywood. I would encourage you to go out and see it, if you are not easily offended...

The Bill from Hell (and it's not a Clinton)!
* The Bailout Bill from Hell has passed the House...and now only needs the President's signature. Anyone out there think this sham of a Conservative President will reverse course on the bailout? Me neither... I have really appreciated Michelle Malkin's continuing coverage of the Bailout Odyssey, make sure you check out her site and inform yourself on the mess we are stepping in here.
* Do you really want to know how bad the Bailout Bill is? I told you so...
* I wanted to post this article from Micheal Barone from US News and World Report, that basically agrees with my assessment from yesterday on how Sarah Palin handled herself in the VP debate. I had the same feeling as Mr. Barone, and wish that Governor Palin had hammered home the Democrat Party's handling of our economy...specifically Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. It took a couple of British writers to really explain why blame should be laid mainly at the feet of the Democrat Party. Or as former Chancellor of the Exchequer Dominic Lawson (of Great Britain)said of Democrat Senators Chris Dodd and Barney Frank... "These are men with sphincters of steel. " Mr. Lawson is in awe of the nerve of the Democrat Party's ability to lay all of the blame at the feet of Wall Street and the President, and so am I.
* Amanda Carpenter from Townhall.com counted how many times Joe Biden lied in the VP debate.
* The Democrat Party would prefer a one party system.
* When it comes to facts, the Democrat Party says "Facts? We don't need no stinkin' Facts!"

Who won the VP Debate?
After a bruising defeat in slow pitch softball, I returned home last night to watch the VP debate with my beautiful wife. I have to admit that I was worried at the start...Joe Biden is a skilled and articulate debater, and Palin was an unknown quantity in a National debate. That being said, I really felt like Governor Palin held her own. I wouldn't say that she won the debate, but it was at least a tie with both sides scoring points but neither delivering a knockout. I felt that Palin's weakest moments were those when Biden would attack McCain and Palin would respond with her own record...perhaps the campaign should have had her study more of McCain's past? I also felt that her strong moments were brighter that Biden's. When she pressed the attack on Obama by recognizing that even Biden thought Obama was dangerous for our country, that was a wicked uppercut from the Governor. Sadly, she did not deliver many moments like that. I had hoped she would really push McCain's attempts at greater regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac...and the fact that Obama and his supporters fought McCain on regulation because they felt that Fannie and Freddie were doing GREAT! I had also hoped that she would expound more on Obama's stance on the SURGE, and continued to hit on Biden's attacks on Obama. All in all, I think the base was satisfied but McCain has got to get his message out to Independents...he is Mr. Independent after all. He should let Palin go around the country hitting rural areas and working the base into a frenzy...and he should take Joe Liebermann and head for the Independent sections of the country to prove to them that he is the man to vote for. More fire is needed...
* Pat Buchanan again articulates truth with every scrawl of his pen. Mr. Buchanan is exactly right, and reiterates my arguments for not being able to vote for John McCain. Just a year ago, we were calling for McCain's head and today the Party lines up like loyal puppies to receive his blessing. The Republican Party seems to be attempting to take the mantle of "Party of the Hypocrites" from the Democrats. Here is some more "proof" that McCain makes too many concessions...it also happens to be proof that Obama is not change but business as usual.
* You might be surprised to read which candidates get the most money from different fields of industry.
* More about Gwen Ifill's liberal tendencies...what bothers me here is the way Professor Sherrilyn Ifill calls Governor Palin a "privileged woman". She uses it is a derogatory term and acts as if Sarah Palin was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Her parents were teachers in a small town, she paid for college by working the beauty pageant circuit and with scholarships, and her husband owned a business and worked for an oil company. How exactly can she be considered "privileged"? Because she and her husband worked their butts off to make a comfortable living? Gwen Ifill's "brilliant" baby cousin seems like an race baiting, class warfare waging, femi-nazi hypocrite to me. She is obviously more "privileged" than the Governor.
* It seems McCain has decided Michigan is unwinnable, he is pulling his resources from the Wolverine State...but it might be to take a shot at stealing Minnesota!
* Another close friend of Obama under investigation...this is getting a little ridiculous. Someone probably needs to check out the Chosen One himself...
Do you want to watch to loudmouths yell at each other for a few minutes? Well too bad because I am posting this video of Bill O'Reilly vs. Barney Frank. The worst part of this is that Bill could have really knocked Barney for a loop, if he would have stayed calm and stuck to the issues...a lost opportunity.

Gutless Wonders fill the Senate
Well the Gutless wonders in the Senate have passed the bailout bill....with "sweeteners". The new bill includes tax cuts for the Republican and spending increases for the Democrats. Great ideas guys, great idea. Don't blame these Senators, they voted against the bill. We are standing on the precipice of a "new America", and the Senate just nudged us in the wrong direction. I must admit to being a little disheartened today, looking at the latest poll numbers, watching TV, or reading the news...all of it seems to portents of an ominous future. I hope that the signs of the times are wrong.
* By the way, the people who actually know what they are talking about still think the plan is nuts.
* The Democrat Party will do anything, and I mean anything, to win.
* Do you want to know what the Democrat Party Leaders really think of us minorities...or you non-High School grads? They think we are idiots. And maybe most of us are because a majority of minorities and non-High School grads vote Democrat!
* Mo Rocca with some hilarious and yet terrifying reporting. Mo doesn't even mention Obama's penchant for subverting the Bill of Rights...folks, you should be worried.
* I am a public school teacher who has chosen not to join a union, because of this exact reason. I am telling you folks, go to your kids schools meet the teachers and let them know that you are not interested in indoctrination for your kids...just education.
* Mr. Obama's economic plans just don't add up, especially the whole "tax cut" thing. The media has allowed the Democrats to do this before, when they beat up on Dan Quayle and gave Bill Clinton a pass.
* The VP debate will be on tonight and just in time Human Events.com has come out with a voter guide, explaining the pitfalls of Joe Biden.
* Brilliant turn of the phrase from Ann Coulter.
* Homeless people again voting Democrat. Don't worry Chicago's mayor Daley has promised to yet again not allow the dead to be disenfranchised...

Dirty, Dirty Pelosi...
* A few years back when the Republicans got trounced in the elections, it was hard to watch but not unexpected. The Republican Party had abused the public trust by allowing wolves into the fold...men like Jack Abramoff, Tom DeLay, and Mark "the Pervert" Foley...and the country turned to the promises of the Democrats. But Now as new light is shed on Nancy Pelosi's political spending habits, and the problems that several Dems are having with ethics violations (including Charlie Rangel)...will the country turn back to the Republicans? Probably not...but the Democrats are showing their true colors by being BIG hypocrites.
* In another stunning defeat for media neutrality and fairness the upcoming VP debate will be moderated by the completely unfair and biased Obamaphile Gwen Ifill.
* More on the hypocrisy of the Left on the Mortgage "crisis" and why Obama's connection is important. How they covered up the problems with the big mortgage companies and how is it possible that Ted Nugent is the voice of reason on this? That dude can rock...
* Can I just say that the new Bailout measure the Senate is voting on today is "just putting lipstick on a pig"? Do you really believe any of these tax cuts that get passed will matter if Obama is elected and the Democrats control the House and Senate? If you do, you my friend are crazy.
* Here is a great Ron Paul video from an interview on CNN.com.

Whose fault is the Financial Crisis?
The Bailout was a bad idea from the start and I am grateful for the faithful few who stood against it...even Dennis Kucinich! Though I am sure that Mr. Kucinich's reasons for being against the bailout were different than mine...I am glad he voted no. I just cannot understand how the Democrat Party comes out clean on this bailout scheme. Barney Frank, Barack Obama, and Nancy Pelosi were the ones telling us in 2005 that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were fine...and now they get to come off like rescuers swooping in to save the economy? The American public cannot be this ignorant...can it? Listen up people! The financial mess we are dealing with right now, is the fault of liberal Washington politicians playing too big of a role in the housing market. This is what happens when you force the market to comply with your values (IE: everyone should own a home), while it would be nice if everyone could afford to own their own home...they can't! Call your Representatives and tell them to stop screwing with the market! If you didn't get a chance make sure to watch the video I posted on here from YouTube yesterday.
* Did you know that this bailout is actually one of the key principles in the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx?
* The Wall Street Journal seems to generally support the bailout. The London Times supported the Bailout a little more emphatically.
* Here is what happens when a financial expert talks about the economy, and here is what happens when an idiot with a pen throws in their two cents.
* The true story of how Barack Obama and his people have played a role in our current economic troubles. More support for the idea that Obama would be devastating for our economy.
* I have been talking about it for the last week or so but here are some more bullets to put in the Democrat Party over "regulation" of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac...they can blame President Bush all they want but fact are facts. The Democrat Party has been in bed with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac long before this "crisis" started to unfold. Watch through to the end as a stunning "guest" backs up the Republican Party.
* Michelle Malkin puts things in perspective.
* From Neal Boortz...
"Is the financial crisis real? Let's consider the fact that yesterday's Dow dropped 778 points. OMG, that sounds just terrible, doesn't it? But wait! When it comes to a percentage drop in the Dow yesterday isn't even in the top ten!"
* Top ten most liberal Republicans in the Senate...and can you believe #1 is the lady Democrats thought McCain should have picked for VP!
* Great read from my favorite Independent...Mr. Pat Buchanan.
* Liberty University could decide who our next President will be! My big question after reading this article about my alma mater...should the preferred candidate at Liberty University be John McCain? I can decisively say it should not be Obama...but should it be McCain?

Not Throwing My Vote Away!
Often when discussing politics with a friend or acquaintance it will come up that I am supporting a Third Party candidate. The obvious and inevitable response from the person I am talking to is "Your just wasting your vote." The next step is always a precarious one, I do not want to offend the other person, but I do want to educate. The problem here is that for most people they do not want to understand the argument for voting 3rd Party, they would like to sit blissfully unaware of their options. More often than not when I broach the 3rd Party question, the other persons eyes glaze over and they rebut every argument with "but it's throwing your vote away" or "but your candidate cannot win". The point is not whether or not my candidate can win...it is whether or not I should vote for a candidate on the sole basis that he/she is not as bad as the other candidate.
If I vote for John McCain in this election it will be on the sole basis that he is NOT Barack Obama. While I disagree with Obama on almost every single issue, I also disagree with John McCain on almost every single issue...just less so than Mr. Obama. Too many people see politics in the Red and Blue. I am a Democrat so I vote Democrat...or I am a Republican so I vote Republican. There are many shades of gray on the political spectrum. For example: both candidates support the bailout of AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and various other groups who are lining up to be bailed out. Obama wants a lot more regulation and bailout money...while John McCain wants slightly less bailout money and slightly less regulation. I disagree with both men...even though they argue that they disagree with each other.
That is basically how I feel on every issue, from abortion to taxes, so how could I possibly vote for John McCain?
Our founding fathers did not desire a two party system, in fact President Washington did not affiliate with either of the two major party's of his day. Over the last 230 years the Federalist, Anti-Federalist, Whig, and Democratic-Republican Party have all been major parties and have all died. Today's Democrats would identify with Jefferson and his allies but they look nothing like that party. Today's Republicans would identify with party of Lincoln but they are a shadow of what that party represented. The point is this; our country and the party's which represent them all change over time.
What has been the common factor in the end of one major Party and the start of another? The Third Party. In 1824 the followers of Andrew Jackson split from the Republican Party (not today's) to form the Democratic-Republican Party (a new one, the forerunner to today's Democrats) and in 1828 they successfully unseated both major party's and incumbent President John Quincy Adams. In 1854 the Republican Party was born (a new Rep. Party), created by disenchanted members of the Whig and Democrat Party. In 1860 Lincoln would win the Presidency as a Republican and the Whig Party would pass into history. In the late 1800's and early 1900's the progressive movement would win many votes away from the major party's. So many, in fact, that each Party would cannibalize some of the Progressive Reforms and make them their own. Some issues that were first championed by 3rd Party's and then picked up by one of the major party's: 40 hour workweek, child labor laws, women's suffrage, prohibition, direct election of Senators, and these are just scratching the surface. If Americans had not supported 3rd Party's at that time, we may have lost out on some of these reforms. In 1912 Republican Progressives refused to vote for William Taft, and instead supported Theodore Roosevelt and the Progressive Party (Bull Moose Party), the Progressives defeated the Republicans in the election but lost to the Democrat candidate Woodrow Wilson.
Fast forward to 1992, when Texas billionaire H. Ross Perot won 19% of the vote to place 3rd in the election. His campaign helped defeat the incumbent Republican George Bush, and win the election for Bill Clinton. Many view this as the ultimate throw away vote, in which the candidate who was the "lesser of two evils" lost because of a 3rd Party candidate. But what this actually highlights is the feeling of the electorate about the economy in 1992. Which is why we see the "Republican Revolution" of 1994, under the leadership of Newt Gingrich and his "contract with America". Without Ross Perot, there would have been no "Republican Revolution" because the Republican Party would not have seen the need for change in the way business was done.
I would argue that voting for someone that you did not feel comfortable with (for any reason) is wasting your vote. If you choose to cast your precious, single ballot for a man or woman that you do not believe is the right man or woman for the job, you are throwing your vote away. For these reasons and many others, I will be voting for Chuck Baldwin in 2008...and that is NOT throwing my vote away.
If I vote for John McCain in this election it will be on the sole basis that he is NOT Barack Obama. While I disagree with Obama on almost every single issue, I also disagree with John McCain on almost every single issue...just less so than Mr. Obama.
STOP THE BAILOUT!
The Truth behind the Big Government Bail Out!
Use the pause button at your discretion, the video moves quick.
* The Federal Government wants to show how it can make communism work!
* More reminders of where the credit crunch started, and who got us there.
* Congress quietly passed a 25 billion dollar bailout of the automobile companies. I hope I am next on this bail out list...I could use a few billion dollars.
* It is the height of ridiculousness that religious leaders (whether Christian, Jewish, Muslim, etc) cannot openly express their political views without fear of reprisal from a fascist government organization like the IRS...unless they agree with the Democrat Party.
***** Remember to call your Congressman and tell them to vote against ANY bailout plan!

Sharing an Email
I received this in an email and thought that it put things in perspective for us. I cannot take credit for it, but it sums up my thoughts quite concisely:
So you want "CHANGE"?
George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. During the first six years,
the economy was fine.
A little over one year ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
4) the DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +
5) Americans were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas, and living large!...
But Americans wanted "CHANGE"!
So, in 2006, they voted in a Democratic Congress & yep--we got 'CHANGE' all
right.
In the PAST YEAR:
1) Consumer confidence has plummeted;
2) Gasoline is now approximately $4 a gallon; and still Speaker Of The House Nancy Pelosi & Senate Majority leader Harry Reed
will not allow a vote on more oil exploration in the USA.
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS & prices still dropping;
5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
6) As I write this, the DOW is probing another low (11,100); $2.5 trillion dollars has evaporated from our collective investment portfolios!
In 2006 America voted for "change", and now Barack Obama wants to really, really give us "change"...I don't know how much more "CHANGE" I can stand...

Don't Bail Them Out!

I read this yesterday and felt I needed to post it, because it says exactly what I feel. Americans are uninformed, unintelligent, simpletons. I know it's harsh but it was the only conclusion I could come to after reading that most Americans blamed the Republicans for the state of the economy. I have taken this excerpt from Neal Boortz' blog.
"According to a poll conducted by CNN, Americans blame Republicans over Democrats for the financial crisis by a 2-to-1 margin. That means that twice as many people out there are playing this "blame the current administration" game. Ahhhh ... the brilliance of the American voters. It is really no surprise if you consider where most people get their information– Entertainment Tonight. It is easy to sit back and just blame the Republicans, rather than trying to understand how we have gotten to this point. Look, folks, I'm not saying that the Republicans didn't have a hand in this ... but Barack Obama has crept back up in the polls to take the lead over John McCain, and you don't think this has anything to do with the economy?
And just who was it that killed a Freddie and Fannie reform bill a few years ago? Why, that would be Democrats. And who was it that was saying everything was cool with Freddie and Fannie? Barney Frank; who is not, by the way, a Republican. And who has been pushing lenders to make loans to unqualified borrowers for two decades? Democrats again. Still, the message doesn't get out. Could that possibly be because of the media love affair with The Chosen One?
Just yesterday, Hillary Clinton said that Barack Obama "is best suited to straighten out the country's economic problems." Question ... what in the wide wide world of balance sheets is she basing this on? What makes Hillary so sure that Barack Obama is the best candidate to handle the economy? What has he ever handled in his entire life? (Wait, don't answer that!) This is coming from a woman who said that "once we get through this immediate crisis," the country should look at some Great Depression-era type of governmental entity to deal with it. I'll tell you what came out of Great Depression politics ... big government. Lots of government. Government dependency.
This is exactly what the Democrats want. They are viewing this entire debacle as a golden opportunity to increase the size of government and expand dependency. Now is the time for you to rely on their party – and their savior, Barack Obama – to lead you out of this crisis and right onto the path of greater government dependency. And it all comes down to one thing, and that is power."
* Dr. Ron Paul is a man America would be fortunate to have in the White House. The folks at the Heritage Foundation have it right. I posted this article yesterday, but it bears repeating...our elected officials should fight for us.
* Mrs. Hillary Clinton is a woman we should be terrified to have in office.
Call your Congressmen and let them know that we will not stand for the bailout...it is a perversion of our system and it should be killed. We are free market capitalists, not European Marxists.

Despot in NYC
* I LOVE this story. This is MY Republican Party. The bailout is a mistake and the Republican Party needs to stop it...even if the President suggested it and most of the Democrats love it. Forget Party politics, go into that room and stand up for the beliefs of the people who elected you. This is why our government has worked so well these last 230 years...politicians standing up for the beliefs of their constituents. The Republican Party is dying, it is gasping for breath and we need men like Jim DeMint of South Carolina to stand in the gap for us. This administration has gotten so many things wrong since the War in Iraq started, and it's time that Republicans stop bickering and start acting.
* It seems like Barack Obama and Joe Biden cannot get on the same page. They keep arguing policy with each other...maybe, they think they are still running in the primary. I have been posting Biden's recent flubs, but wanted to post a link to this concise list of missteps the two comedians...er, I mean candidates have made over the last couple of days.
* Risk is inherent to freedom. Whether on Wall St. or Main St., a free society carries with it certain risks. If we wanted complete protection from terrorists we would live in a police state, if we want complete protection from the collapse of a certain part of the economy...now we are talking about socialism. I don't want or need either.

Stop the Bailout, call your Congressman.
* I love our country, it is amazing to me that a man like Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who will not allow free speech in his country has the audacity to come to ours and talk about us being "repressive". "American empire in the world is reaching the end of its road, and its next rulers must limit their interference to their own borders," Ahmadinejad said. This guy is an "arse"clown, whose own country hates him.
--- Update: Idiot American groups hold dinner "honoring" Ahmadinejad. This makes me want to curse.

Stop calling me a racist!
* Ron Paul has officially endorsed the Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin. By doing this he fixed that earlier mistake of advocating for Ralph Nader and Cynthia McKinney. I am with Dr. Paul here, a vote for Baldwin is a vote to fix the government's ailments.
* Yet another awful truth about Barack Obama that the Main Stream Media will never touch. What makes me angry here is that they will print that there is a rumor that Trig Palin is Sarah Palin's grandson...but they will not print actual, factual truth about Obama. Another one they won't print, Obama's tax plan is clear cut income redistribution.
* Be ready for riots if Obama loses and not just in Watts or Detroit but in Harvard Yard and San Francisco, too. The racial rhetoric of the liberals in this election is painful...they literally blame every problem on the President and none on the legislature. So in their mind, the only way the Democrats can lose...racism.
* Michelle Malkin has posted an update to the Palin smear campaign article from yesterday...it is the smearer's response, and boy are his answers shaky.
* Just under 1/3 of Clinton supporters are backing John McCain...is this because they are racist or John McCain is so similar to Mrs. Clinton that voting for him is almost like voting for her? I'll leave that for you to answer...but I think it's the latter not the former. (Sorry, I had to throw my 2 cents in)
* Bill Clinton making sense. Man, he would be a solid candidate for the Democrat Party...oh wait! Nevermind.
* If I vote Democrat, I might be able to do a whole blog focused on just Joe Biden. That guy is a writer's dream. He is so "off-the-cuff" that he says the funniest things...here he is basically saying that Obama has "terrible" judgement for endorsing an attack ad on McCain. He is the Republican secret weapon...I think that in the Vice Presidential debate he will end up saying something like... "I can see Russia from my house, too!" or "I invented the internet!"
----- An update: Obama now saying that Biden was wrong on AIG (though now right) but McCain was a flip flopper for the same change of views. I happen to think they are all wrong...we are not socialists...none of these buyouts should happen, none of them.
* The speech Sarah Palin had planned to give at the rally protesting the President of Iran's visit to New York was spectacular. However, you never got to hear it because the liberal Jewish community protested having Palin be there once Hillary dropped out. When will the Jewish/Israeli community here and abroad realize that their best interests are served by the Republican Party?
* A couple of stories from the files of the absurd: First, a kid get suspended for wearing an anti-Obama t-shirt. While you are there you should check out what people are posting about those not voting for Obama...apparently if you do not vote for Obama you are a hateful bigot. * Breaking Story...Obama Campaign Hypocrisy
This is a HUGE story. Normally, I wouldn't really care about a story like this but with all the posturing the Obama campaign has done about stupid arguments (like "lipstick on a pig"), he opened himself up to scrutiny. Mr. Obama and his cronies have been up and down the main stream media attacking McCain's campaign for "not focusing on issues" and "faking indignation" about benign comments. "Investigative Bloggers" may have just uncovered proof that the Obama campaign IS behind the Palin smear campaign. Read through the entire post on Michelle Malkin's website and be sure to read all of the links as well. These bloggers are doing the work that "investigative journalists" are supposed to be doing...they are proof that the MSM has gotten fat, lazy, and biased...and we (the general public) are to blame. We should be holding the main stream media to a higher standard.
Subverted by Socialism.
Picture from michellemalkin.com* We have allowed our superior free-market economy to be subverted by socialism. Both Presidential candidates have not handled our financial problems properly. The venerable George Will on the subject and if you want to know just whose fault this is...then read this article from Bloomberg.com. Is this truly the end of fiscal conservatism...or is there hope?
* Why does it matter that the McCain's own 13 cars? If I remember correctly, a recent Democratic Presidential candidate was also married to a very, very rich wife...by way of comparison here is an article on the McCain family wealth.
* A list of the 50 richest members of Congress. The only thing that bothers me about this list, is how some of the members of Congress seem to find ways to make extra millions after they are elected to public office. Do they not have good investment sense before they become congressmen? When I see elected officials making millions off of land deals, I get worried.
* Sarah Palin drew a huge crowd near Orlando, Florida.
* Can you believe the Emmy's were full of conservative bashing rhetoric? Well, if it bothers you...read this article and you may just smile.
* From the files of the Ridiculous: A student got in trouble for violating dress code in a California High School. Were his pants hanging to low? Was he shoeless? His violation? An American Flag t-shirt. I kid you not...

* The death of the free market is being presided over by a Republican President...but Neal Boortz uncovers who started this mess. John McCain was made fun of for saying he "would fire the SEC chairman", by none other than the meandering liberal hatemonger Keith Olbermann...but the joke is actually on Keith.
* The Democrat Party had a chance to do some damage in this election, but it looks like they may just be their own worst enemies.
* From the files of the ridiculous...Obama calls McCain out on abortion! Then he releases an ad that attacks abortion survivors.
* Mr. Obama must think that because he plays an ad in Spanish, we Latinos will believe whatever it says. The fact that I speak Spanish does not mean I am stupid.
* Charlie Rangel should have listened to me when I told him to step down. He has gotten himself in more trouble recently.
* Check out Dick Morris' most recent election map...it's a doozey.

* A mother fights to rescue her daughter from a global crime ring that kidnaps unfortunate women and forces them into sexual slavery...no this isn't the plot for a Hollywood movie, it is the true story of one brave mother. Today, there are still over 12 million people around the world living in slavery...we all have a responsibility to step in and fight this evil.

* The Community Organizer's friends are trying to cheat again! What else can you expect from a politician birthed out of the Daley political machine in Chicago? His friends are okay with cheating other Americans out of their votes because to them, the end justifies the means.
* Here is what that Kindergarten sex education bill, Mr. Obama supports, says.
* John McCain gets the endorsement of a pretty smart businessman, who also thinks Obama's economic plan will cost you a lot of money.
* Can I just say...I love Joe Biden. The dude is hilarious. You have to see what he said...
* As someone who loves history, I really enjoyed this article about the final nail in Julius and Ethel Rosenberg's coffins. Personal opinion, the Rosenberg's got off way too easy.
No, I am not a racist.
Jack Cafferty has a quick note on CNN.com, the premise...? The only reason Barack Obama is not winning is because he is black. I cannot formulate into words the anger, disgust, and pain that I am currently feeling because of this article and the comments by readers that follow it. I am a first generation American of Latin descent who is not supporting either of the major candidates, but the one I oppose the most is Barack Obama...and the amount of melanin in his skin has nothing to do with it. Over the last year or so I have tried to articulate reason after reason for voting against Barack Obama, and yet empty-suits like Jack Cafferty think it all has to do with race. It can't be tax policy, or spending policies, or welfare, or abortion, or national security, or crime, or healthcare, or immigration reform, or energy, or states rights issues, or the Supreme Court, or corruption, or Social Security, or socialism, or globalism, or candidate preparation and experience. No, no, no...it must be because he is a black man. Or half-black man. By the way, you do understand the underlying assumption, right? If Democrats are voting for Obama and Republicans are voting for McCain...and Obama is not winning because of his race...ergo Republicans are RACIST. The worst part is that there are others out there who actually agree with him...Jack Cafferty you and your ilk are despicable.

Born Alive
* There is a new 527 PAC called Born Alive Truth who is rolling out a series of advertisements attacking Barack Obama for his refusal to support legislation to protect children who survive abortion attempts.
What the Obama campaign attempts to obfuscate is that in Illinois there may have been a state law in place that in theory should have protected babies who survived abortions...but it was not enforced.
Which is why Jill Stanek was forced to hold a dying baby in here arms while other nurses would have dropped him off in a broom closet. Obama's campaign fails to mention that the Illinois law had loop holes that were routinely used by abortion clinics and hospitals. His campaign also refuses to address how Obama would vote against a law that is exactly like a federal law now in place. Barack Obama is a smooth talking con artist playing a shell game with the truth, and killing people along the way.
